Images Male: "On the Road" Portrait Project
Combining a love of travel & adventure, portrait photography of men
and meeting new people, I am taking my camera on the road.
If you know of a location where you think I should shoot as part of this project, please contact me. I am always eager to hear about cool shooting locations, men interested in being photographed and host options for shooting. Learn more below and see images from my recent trips to Southern Utan and South Florida. I am specifically interested in creating compelling nudes in nature images, but also open to clothed portraits and nudes in more studio environments.

MODELS: Shoots can be outdoors and/or indoors and poses can be anywhere from fashion, casual, suggestive and nude. NO nudity is required to participate in this project. Portraits can be individual or male couples. Generally, models are not paid, rather, it is TFP (time for portfolio) where professional images are given to the model after the shoot. All models who pose nude will have to provide age verification (18+).
PHOTOGRAPHERS: If you're a photographer that specializes in male portraiture and might enjoy collaborating with me while I'm in your location, please share your info and details on your interests. I'm also open to traveling with others to explore this journey together.
I love learning from and sharing my expertise with other photographers. I offer workshops in the Washington, DC metro area and I would welcome the chance to participate in education while on the road.

Behind the Scenes
In the examples below, you can see how a combination of exposure settings of the camera, composition and framing, use of an external off-camera light source and post editing can all come together to make an ordinary outdoor or indoor venue appear as something more attractive or different than the original setting. This makes shooting on location a fun technical and creative challenge. With patience, we can turn almost anywhere into someplace special.
